Medication management is a level of outpatient treatment that involves the initial evaluation of the patient’s need for psychotropic medications (those that affect a person’s mental state), the provision of a prescription, and ongoing medical monitoring related to the patient’s use of the psychotropic medication by one of our Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs). Our PMHNPs are here to treat a variety of psychiatric conditions, including ADHD, depression, anxiety, PTSD, mood disorders, Bipolar, Schizoaffective, Autism, and OCD in patients ages 4 and older.

Medication management includes monitoring, reconciling medications, and ensuring patients are making the progress they are looking for. It requires a thorough review of prescribed drugs and their possible side effects to create treatment plans and monitor their safety and efficacy.
