Krista L. Hawkins is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Registered Art Therapist. She graduated from Loyola Marymount University with her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Clinical Art therapy. 

Krista is passionate about supervising associates gaining their hours for art therapy registration. In sessions. Krista enjoys using art therapy because it taps into the subconscious to accelerate the discovery of hidden patterns that impact daily life. 

Using art in the healing process helps you explore your emotions, develop self-awareness, cope with stress, and gain personal insight. Artistic ability and art knowledge is not necessary to participate. Her goal is to help individuals align their values and what matters most so they can live a more meaningful and authentic life. 

Krista’s professional experience extends over 10 years working with youth and adults with a variety of mental health needs.  She provides a safe and non-judgmental environment to explore the patterns that interfere with living a fulfilling life. 

Using a collaborative approach, she integrates evidence-based practices, art therapy and mindfulness to help ease stress. She has extensive experience in treating postpartum depression, phase of life transitions including the stressor of college life, depression and anxiety from midlife changes due to perimenopause and menopause, grief and loss, relationship challenges, and anxiety.

I have been fortunate to travel the world and have experienced many beautiful trips with family and friends. However, my two favorite trips were Hawaii and Santiago Chile. Hawaii in 1999 was planned with a friend and at the last minute she couldn't go. So, I decided to go alone. It was my first trip as an adult alone and was one of my best vacations ever. I met some of the most awesome people. My Chilean trip, I was visiting my brother but he had to work most days. If you know me, I speak very little spanish but I ventured out on my own each day and navigated the city like a G. Lol

A day at the beach, eating a good meal with good friends, and chillin’ with my hubby

Throw on my wireless headsets and boogy in my bedroom! Especially after a stressful day.

To be an artist, drawing and painting all day.

I enjoy working with individuals, particularly tweens, adolescents, young, middle and older adults. In my counseling role as a marriage and family therapist, I am trained to help people understand and address how past and present relationships with their family of origin and others in their lives impact not only how they interact with others, but also how they view themselves, respond to other people emotionally, personally and professionally, cope with life challenges and achieve goals related to what they value in life. In your sessions with me, we first explore your family background and other life experiences together, then draw connections that help understanding of uncomfortable feelings, that may include sadness, anxiety, disappointment, confusion and others that interfere with satisfaction about life in general and/or achievement of things you want or need to do. Once we identify areas we want to address in our sessions, we decide how to move forward to implement changes or achieve acceptance of those areas.  I find that life transitions from childhood to adolescence, then adolescence into emerging adulthood, then middle and older adulthood often trigger feelings of self reflection and sometimes confusion or disappointment about one's life direction. This is an area that I enjoy navigating together with people. Areas such as dating, marriage, break-ups, parenting, divorce, family conflict, career changes, aging, depressed feelings, panic symptoms and death of loved ones are just a few of the issues that are useful to explore in therapy.  My Pepperdine education and training in Clinical Psychology, current position as an Adjunct Professor teaching  Psychology graduate students at Pepperdine and scientific background as a Neurobiologist in my first career help me to bring multiple ideas and perspectives to our sessions.   As your therapist, I spend one hour every week with you to think and talk about you, your goals, your values, your concerns, your successes, your disappointments and challenges. And together, as a 2 person team, you and I strategize to find solutions to those things you can change or identify coping strategies that help you achieve a level of acceptance for those other aspects of life that may be out of your control to change.

Stephanie Trecha is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her B.S. in Psychology and her Master’s in Social Work from San Diego State University.  Stephanie has been practicing in the field of social work for 18 years in San Diego County, with specialized care in the areas of substance abuse treatment, Child Welfare Services (DCFS), Adoptions, Medical Social Work and Inpatient Psychiatry, as well as with Federal Inmates receiving inpatient psychiatric care.

Stephanie currently works with adolescents and adults across the lifespan, as well as with couples. Her emphasis is in working with those experiencing a variety of challenges such as relationship issues, past or current trauma, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, domestic violence, as well as issues related to one’s sexuality (sexual identity, sexual functioning, etc). Stephanie provides a safe space to facilitate self-reflection and self-discovery. Stephanie desires to see her clients understand and manage their emotions and behaviors as they learn and practice new coping skills. Stephanie is currently seeking certification as a Sex Therapist (AASECT), as well as completing certification in Gottman Couples Therapy. She also employs evidence-based practices such as CBT, TF-CBT, motivational interviewing, family systems, and solution focused therapy. Stephanie is a mother to two daughters, a lover of the arts and painting, an avid reader, and a Girl Scouts Troop Leader in her free time.

My name is Chris Theobald and I am Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Professional Clinical Counselor. I actively work with the clinicians at Healing Solutions Family Therapy Center in supporting their onboarding, training, and documentation. I continuously work to improve our organizational practices in an effort to promote the highest quality of care.

I’ve spent the last 9 years providing mental health services to children, adults, and families. I use a variety of therapeutic methods including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). My name is Yvette Angelina Arroyo and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) based in Los Angeles, California and working with client’s statewide via telehealth. I work with young adults and adults, and specialize in Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, Anger Management, Grief and Loss, Low Self-Esteem, and with Addictions. I use a variety of therapeutic methods including but not limited to: Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Humanistic Therapy, with a focus to provide my client’s an individualized treatment based on their specific needs.

I am passionate about offering hope, providing support and guidance, and with helping increase interpersonal and intrapersonal skills and values that will ultimately lead to a healthier and happier life; I find that my style and approach works well with youth, young adults, and adults. This style and approach further support with processing core challenges that cause and/or exacerbate the symptoms associated with trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and grief.

I am fluent in both English and Spanish and am available to provide therapy in both languages.

I am Stephanie Mujica a LMFT who has been working in the mental health field for over 10 years with a wide range of experience with adults, children, teens, and families in diverse settings. I am passionate in helping others battling with mental health issues and allowing them to work towards becoming the best version of themselves. Some of the populations I have worked with are children with special needs and other mental disorders, teens in a level 12 rehabilitation center struggling with addiction and moderate to severe mental health issues. I have also worked in the homes of open DCFS cases doing the family preservation program. I have experience working with Victims of crimes program working with client's such as sexual assault, Domestic Violence, and victims of murder crimes. I also have experience working with individuals who have experienced infant loss, miscarriage, and struggling with infertility. I hope to assist individuals in learning skills to better navigate through their mental health concerns.

Eileen McDaniel is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and obtained her Master of Arts degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University. Eileen has experience working with youth ages 2 to 18, adults and families and has worked in drug and alcohol treatment, residential, community and private practice settings.

​Eileen is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), both evidence-based practices. She is also trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) and Managing and Adapting Practice (MAP). Eileen is a National Education Alliance for Borderline Personality Disorder (NEABPD) Family Connections leader and Certified Sibshops facilitator.
