Anabelle C. Ochoa
she/her
LMFT 124017
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
As a clinician, Anabelle's mission is to support individuals navigating mental, emotional, and social challenges. She understands how isolating it can feel to be in a space where no one seems to understand—or even notice—their pain. Psychotherapy offers a compassionate path forward, providing guidance and tools to help those struggling with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, family conflict, trauma and more.
Anabelle specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), using evidence-based interventions that explore how thoughts and emotions influence behavior. Through this process, clients gain insight into their patterns and begin to reshape their inner narratives. In addition to CBT, she integrates art therapy as a powerful, nonverbal avenue for self-expression. Creating art in session can open a safe, reflective space where clients give voice to their inner conflicts, hopes, and healing.
Being a therapist is not just a profession—it’s a journey of mutual growth. Witnessing her clients evolve, reclaim their strength, and step into their fullest potential is profoundly rewarding. Change is possible. With guidance, dedication, and a trusting therapeutic relationship, transformation begins.

Caroline A Connelly
she/her
LMFT 122983
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Caroline enjoys working with individuals, particularly tweens, adolescents, young, middle and older adults. In her counseling role as a marriage and family therapist, she is trained to help people understand and address how past and present relationships with their family of origin and others in their lives impact not only how they interact with others, but also how they view themselves, respond to other people emotionally, personally and professionally, cope with life challenges and achieve goals related to what they value in life. In your sessions with Caroline, you will first explore your family background and other life experiences together, then draw connections that help understanding of uncomfortable feelings, that may include sadness, anxiety, disappointment, confusion and others that interfere with satisfaction about life in general and/or achievement of things you want or need to do. Once you identify areas you want to address in your sessions, you decide how to move forward to implement changes or achieve acceptance of those areas.
Caroline finds that life transitions from childhood to adolescence, then adolescence into emerging adulthood, then middle and older adulthood often trigger feelings of self reflection and sometimes confusion or disappointment about one's life direction. This is an area that she enjoys navigating together with people. Areas such as dating, marriage, break-ups, parenting, divorce, family conflict, career changes, aging, depressed feelings, panic symptoms and death of loved ones are just a few of the issues that are useful to explore in therapy. Her Pepperdine education and training in Clinical Psychology, current position as an Adjunct Professor teaching Psychology graduate students at Pepperdine and scientific background as a Neurobiologist in her first career help her to bring multiple ideas and perspectives to sessions. As your therapist, Caroline spends one hour every week with you to think and talk about you, your goals, your values, your concerns, your successes, your disappointments and challenges. And together, as a 2 person team, you will strategize to find solutions to those things you can change or identify coping strategies that help you achieve a level of acceptance for those other aspects of life that may be out of your control to change.
