Anxiety doesn’t always look like a panic attack. Sometimes it looks like overthinking every text. Feeling like something bad is about to happen even when nothing is wrong. Avoiding school, parties, or new experiences because your stomach won’t stop flipping.

Sometimes it feels like everything is too much, and other times, like you don’t feel anything at all. And maybe people tell you, “You’re just being dramatic,” or “You’ll grow out of it.” But inside, your mind won’t stop racing, and your body feels tense all the time.

That’s anxiety. And it’s real.

You’re not making it up. You’re not weak. Your nervous system is just doing its best to keep you safe—even if the danger isn’t real. The problem is your brain’s alarm system doesn’t have an “off” switch when you need it.

In therapy you can learn how to work with your anxiety instead of against it. How to listen to your body without panicking. How to quiet your thoughts without pretending they’re not there. It’s not about never feeling anxious, it’s about not letting anxiety be in control anymore. If your anxiety is always on and you’re tired of pretending it’s not, we can help. You don’t have to deal with this alone.
